"SIGN UP AND SHARE SUNDAY"
This is our moment to make a real impact. We're urging all supporters to share the e-lobby and encourage at least one person to sign and spread the word to their friends and family. Together, we can stand strong against the proposed ban on trail hunting before the government's consultation ends next week.

Have you had your say on what British wildlife you want to see on the Bank of England's next notes?
Contenders such as the fox, hare and salmon are Countryside Alliance favourites - but with great alternatives such as the curlew it's hard to choose!

"Whoever is in charge of the Labour Party when the music stops needs to deliver the change that was promised in 2024. A change from the arrogant assumption that government knows what is best for the countryside" writes Tim Bonner for the Telegraph.

🚨More and more people are responding to the government’s consultation to ban trail hunting, opposing it and the toxic culture war on the countryside. Thank you. There’s been a number of powerful TV clips recently which we are proud to have helped put together. These have clearly had a significant impact. Have you opposed the ban yet? It takes seconds to do⬇️

“Research consistently shows that magpies are opportunistic predators that take eggs, nestlings and small birds, particularly impacting songbirds during the breeding season.
“For farmland and woodland bird populations to recover, we both have to improve habitat and reduce predation.”
“UK magpies’ numbers doubled in the 20 years up to 1990, but the widespread adoption of trapping halted population growth and has kept numbers under control since.”
Tim Bonner, our chief executive, argues a crackdown on magpie trapping will harm vulnerable songbirds⬇️

The RSPB's latest report is yet another example of the group pursuing its anti-shooting agenda.
Rather than relentlessly attacking game shooting, the RSPB should be welcoming the £500m worth of conservation work and £3.3bn that it contributes each year.

Tonight, everyone at the Countryside Alliance would like to wish the Hawkstone Farmers Choir the very best of luck in the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent! 🎶⭐
The choir proudly represents so many people from the farming and trail hunting community, and it’s fantastic to see rural voices and the countryside celebrated on such a huge stage.
We’ll be cheering them on every step of the way and hope the whole countryside gets behind them tonight.
Good luck, Hawkstone Farmers Choir - we will be voting for you! 👏🐴🚜
