Congrats , , and on a fantastic result ๐
Zoe, amongst others including our current chair Carrie (pictured in the last photo ๐ธ), wrote our policy in 2019. Links to which are in our bio.
We champion an evidence-based public health approach to substances, which puts our communties first. We're very proud ofnit!
Hackney has just elected a mayor that will make the area Happier, healthier and safer. It is a huge achievement ๐ a massive win for a better approach to drugs in our society.
It was grand to watch it live! โบ๏ธ

Drug deaths are increasing, organised crime is stronger than ever, the health and safety of our communties keeps getting worse. This isn't acceptable. ๐คฌ๐ฌ๐ง๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
The same people responsible for this keep supporting the same tried, tested, and failed policies. They ignore the evidence in front of them, time and time again. Our communties deserve so much better! ๐
Darlington Tories recently put out this moronic leaflet. We shouldn't elect politicians that actively stand in the way of improving our communities.
The Green party is offering evidence-based policies to tackle these issues. Whilst other parties posture and smear, Green work hard and get things done. ๐ช๐พ

It's one rule for them, and another for everyone else! ๐คฌ โ๏ธ๐
Politicians indulge in substances, while creating laws that damage and scar our communties. They use drug policy as a "political football", allergic to trying proven policies ๐ฅ Green party politicians are different! ๐ณ
Prohibition fuels rising drug deaths, ill health, and organised crime which plagues our communties. We know this, we see it, we feel it.
Green party drug policy takes an evidence-based approach to regulating drugs, killing the often rapacious criminal monopoly, and champions individual liberty. ๐๐
We want people empowered and free to make informed decisions about what they put in their own body, whilst taking a realistic approach to those that are struggling with addiction. We want people to live their best lives!
End the hypocrisy; Start with evidence-based policy!๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐ฌ๐ง

This has been put out on behalf of Darlington Conservatives.
If the war on drugs wasn't killing people daily it would be hillarious.
A few points:
1. No guys, we want to give people free he**in on prescription, because addiction is a health issue.
2. Needles are already free as a vital public health provision. They were free for the 14 years of Conservative Government.
3. Let's not forget that the Tories have been reported as using co***ne in Westminster. (https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/dec/06/tories-waging-war-on-drugs-co***ne-all-over-parliamentary-loos).
4. Everything else on there is just silly and trivialising an issue that is killing people.
