Thank you to everyone who attended our wonderful author event on Tuesday evening at Clare Library.

In particular thank you to Sue Williamson for arranging and hosting the visit from the author, Ruth Dughall, and of course to Ruth herself for visiting us.

Ruth gave us a talk about the life of a writer. It was not only entertaining but gave us an insight into her methods , resources and inspirations.

Thank you all for a lovely evening.

If health or mobility problems are preventing you or someone you know from visiting a library branch or mobile library, our Home Library Service volunteers are here to help!

Let us know your favourite authors, genres, or topics, and our volunteers will select books for you and place the orders through the library. They’ll collect the books, deliver them to your home, and return any you’ve finished.

This service is completely free - get in touch with your local library to find out more and sign up!
