🧀🍝 Homemade Macaroni Cheese… Made with Love! 🧄🥖

One of our lovely members of staff has been busy in the kitchen making some delicious homemade macaroni cheese for our residents to enjoy, served alongside some tasty garlic bread! 😍

There’s nothing quite like a bit of homemade comfort food to bring smiles to faces ❤️ Our residents were certainly in for a cheesy treat! 🤭

Good food, good company, and happy tummies — what more could you ask for? 🙏

Delicious Sausage Casserole 🌭🍲

Our residents enjoyed a lovely homemade sausage casserole, prepared with lots of care for everyone to enjoy.

The delicious smell filled the home as it was cooking, making everyone look forward to dinner time! When it was time to sit down and enjoy the meal, everyone agreed on just how lovely it was.

It was a hearty, comforting meal that was enjoyed by all, with plenty of happy faces and clean plates! ❤️

Sunday Roast Dinner 🍽️🧑‍🍳

On Sunday, everyone got involved in making a delicious roast dinner together. The residents helped prepare the vegetables and took care of the dishes, while the staff prepared the meat and Yorkshire puddings — although, as everyone agreed, they were more like Yorkshire cushions! 🤭

The kitchen was filled with lovely smells, laughter and plenty of teamwork. Everyone said that it felt like Christmas!

One of our residents took a piece of the meat, had a taste and said, “Mmmm!” — which was all the feedback we needed to know that the roast was a success!

This meal worked out at a total cost of just £2.64 per person. It is important that we make our residents aware of the importance of budgeting and demonstrate how affordable, nutritious meals can be prepared while making the most of their money 💰

It was a lovely afternoon of cooking, sharing and enjoying good food together. ❤️

🌟 Wonderful Wednesday's! 🌟

Some of our residents were supported by our member of staff Lydia to visit the amazing Hungry Hosse Café Soup Kitchen 🥣❤️

They enjoyed a lovely bus ride out together and were warmly welcomed and greeted by the wonderful volunteers and staff at the soup kitchen.

Everyone enjoyed some amazing food, had the opportunity to socialise with other members of the public and really enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. 😊

Our residents all agreed that they would love to return again — the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was even better!

To top off a wonderful visit, the team at the soup kitchen were incredibly generous and provided packed lunches for everyone to take home 🥪

A huge thank you to everyone at the Hungry Hosse Café Soup Kitchen for making our residents feel so welcome and for showing such kindness and generosity ❤️

What a wonderful day of food, friendship and community! 🌟
