Are you looking for creative half-terms activities for children? We can help!

Our Christmas card competition is open for entries. Design the front of your card on a sheet of A4 paper (please do not fold your paper into a card shape).

Put your name, age, address and/or school on the back and get it to the Town Hall by Monday 16 November.

There are three categories: Age 6 and under, 7-10, and 11-14, with a winner chosen from each (parents/teachers are welcome to enter Children with SEND in their educational age group rather than their actual age group)

You must be available from 5.30pm on Friday 4 December 2026.

The overall winner will switch on the lights AND their entry will be the Town Council’s official Christmas card for 2026!

Copies of entries (not the personal details) will be given to local care homes and other organisations to share with Corsham’s senior residents or those on their own at Christmas.

-------

We have also worked with local artist Samuel Lindup to create a free colouring-in sheet, filled with lots of lovely details of Corsham. You can colour in the front side, or display the already coloured-in version on the back. Copies are available from the Town Hall or the Tourist Information Centre.

Looking for a special Corsham Christmas present?

Last year, Fairtrade Corsham created its very own Fairtrade Chocolate Bar with a stunning peacock-inspired wrapper designed by a student from The Corsham School. With support from Corsham Town Council, local businesses and The Meaningful Chocolate Company, the bar was a sell out, but now it's back for Christmas 2026!

You can find your chocolate at Woody's The Deli at Corsham, Corsham Tourist Information Centre, Pound Arts' Cafe and Kettlesmith’s Corsham. Why not get one for someone's Christmas stocking - and treat yourself at the same time? By choosing Fairtrade, you are choosing to support Fairtrade producers across the globe and helping to create a fairer, more sustainable world.

Fairtrade Corsham would like to thank Corsham Town Council, all the local businesses who help make Corsham a Fairtrade Town. and its partners Corsham Climate Action. Thank you, Corsham for shopping local and choosing Fairtrade.
