The Poppy Appeal was launched at West Orchards on Friday 23rd October and poppies can be bought at a variety of locations, including the Council House.
Main Remembrance Events
Sunday 8th November
War Memorial Park Cenotaph Service & Parade:
Starts around 10:50 AM to 11:00 AM (with participants gathering beforehand, and the parade traditionally assembling in Earlsdon/Spencer Road prior to arriving at the park). Attended by the Lord Mayor of Coventry, local civic and faith leaders, and serving and retired members of the armed forces.]
London Road Cemetery Service:
Held in the afternoon (3:00 PM). communal service dedicated to remembering civilian casualties and those lost during the Coventry Blitz.
