Storm conditions are battering SW England at the moment and are set to continue over the weekend. Fortunately our region appears to not be too badly affected though wind gust of roughly 55 mph are predicted for Sunday. Average wind speeds are around 29 mph for the next few days. Please be aware of these conditions and make a note of tide times if venturing out. I am sure there will be worry along our ever eroding coastline as these conditions do the most damage. With the winter conditions now with us it is time to change our clocks which go back at 02.00hrs BST Sunday 25th October. At least we get an extra hour snuggled up in bed and we can look at that nasty weather out of the window. Please take care and stay warm, Eyes Along the Coast.

After such a beautiful summer the onset of autumn has come as quite a shock. The temperature is significantly lower and of course the wind chill reduces it even further, nonetheless with a few more layers Cromer is still a great place to visit. Be aware of the tides when you visit as they have been and continue to be very high. Coastal areas not far from us are on flood warnings though Cromer at the moment is okay. After successfully completing his training Matthew had his assessment and we are delighted to say is now a member of the Cromer NCI team. He was handed his certificate of achievement and epaulettes by station manager Richard Leeds. A warm welcome from all of the team and let us hope you spend many years as a member of the NCI team.
