Re: School Admissions Poster for Reception Applications

As part of the application process for Reception entry to infant and primary school, we are advertising the need for parents and carers of children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 to apply for a school place.

Applications can be submitted from 3 November 2026 and the deadline for receipt of completed school applications for Reception is 15 January 2027.

Please find JPG file attached with our admissions poster. Could you kindly include it with any online information you provide over the next few months, or for inclusion with local newsletters you may be sending out.

If parents or carers have any questions, they should be directed to the primary application web page which has all the information they need plus a link to the online application form: www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/primaryadmissions

📋 Cropredy Parish Council – Meeting Minutes

We've been rather busy bees at the Parish Council lately! 🐝

With so many matters being discussed, projects moving forward and village issues being addressed, our meeting minutes have been getting longer and longer… and taking up quite a bit of precious space in our lovely Cropredy Crier! 📰

At the request of the Crier's editors, and quite understandably, we've been asked to give a little of that space back so there's room for all the other wonderful village news.

So, what's changing?

From now on, the Crier will publish a shorter version of our meeting minutes, highlighting some of the key discussions and decisions.

But don't worry, we're not keeping anything from you! 😊

Come along to hear about what is happening in our village, meet your Parish Councillors and raise any questions or concerns during the public participation section.

🌳 Fallen tree update

We’ve had a few enquiries about the fallen tree and what remains of it, so I wanted to keep everyone updated.

I have now spoken directly with Sanctuary Housing’s local housing officer. He has assured me that a team will attend by the middle of next week to clear the pavement and assess the surrounding trees.

It took a little persistence and perhaps a little branch-to-branch communication but the matter is now with the right people, and action will be taken shortly.

Thank you for your patience, and please continue to take care when using that stretch of road in the meantime.
