PUBLIC CONTRACT NOTICE: Unpaid Carer Support Service 📣

Midlothian Council is seeking a single provider to deliver a range of community based unpaid carer support services to relevant carers in Midlothian.

The services will support carers in a range of carer roles and circumstances and the service contract is focussed on delivery of Midlothian Integration Joint Board (IJB) Unpaid Carer Strategy (2025-28), the Provider will support development and delivery of future strategies in place during the duration of the contract.

Midlothian Council seeks to establish a framework for the supply, delivery, installation and disposal of domestic furniture and furnishings, including white goods to various types of domestic dwellings in Midlothian.

The supply of goods is to meet the needs of the applicants of the Scottish Welfare Community Care Grant and will be tendered in two Lots:

Lot 1: New Furniture and Lot 2: Reuse Furniture.

Got a project to preserve local history? 🏛️🌿 Funding is available!

Historic Environment Scotland’s Heritage and Place Fund is now welcoming Expressions of Interest. It’s designed to help preserve local communities through historic building repairs and reuse, traditional skills training, and community heritage activities.

Eligible non-profits and local authorities can access development phase support for everything from specialist surveys and staff costs to local community engagement.

🎃☔️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🎃☔️

After careful consultation with Midlothian Council and all relevant parties, we have taken the decision to close on Saturday & Sunday this weekend.

This decision has not been taken lightly, but the safety and security of our guests & staff is of paramount importance. The park will also be closed to the public for both days.

All ticket holders with tickets for Saturday 24th October and Sunday 25th October will receive an automatic refund. There is no requirement to message or apply for this, it will be auto-initiated.

WE ARE OPEN TONIGHT! 🎃 As part of our consultations & discussions with relevant parties and formal weather assessments, we are pleased to still be able to welcome guests this evening!
