🚨 Labour have lost control of the National Debt

We are now paying more per year on Debt interest, £98 Billion pounds.

More than we do on the combined cost of our Police, Armed Forces and Schools.

‼️Northgate House ‼️

Will the Labour Council finally act?

The previous Conservative Council approved legal measures to acquire Northgate House.

However when taking office Labour failed to see this through and regeneration has completely stalled.

We have called them out repeatedly but all we get are excuse after excuse.

Residents may think this announcement 7 months out from Local elections is just a cynical attempt to wash away their inaction over the last 3 1/2 years.

We just hope there are no more excuses and Labour just get on with the job we signed off on.

Labour talk about giving people "breathing space”.The truth is they are the ones choking the economy.

🚨 IT’S TIME DARLINGTON RESIDENTS WERE HEARD!

Darlington Conservatives have surveyed thousands of residents, and the message is clear.

Anti-social behaviour, crime and the dangerous, illegal use of off-road bikes are serious concerns across our town.

Residents should be able to enjoy their homes, streets and communities without fear of intimidation, disruption or dangerous behaviour.

Perhaps most concerning is how many residents feel that, despite repeatedly raising these issues, little seems to change.

We believe it’s time to bring everyone together to find solutions.

That’s why we have invited our MPs, the Leader of Darlington Borough Council, the Chief Constable and the Police and Crime Commissioner to an open, non-political community forum.

🗣️ An opportunity for residents to speak directly to those responsible for keeping our communities safe.

We want to understand:

✅ What action is already being taken?

✅ What further steps can be taken to tackle ASB and illegal off-road bikes?

✅ How can we measure progress and ensure residents see real improvements?

This isn’t about politics, criticism or pointing fingers. It’s about listening, working together and finding practical solutions.

We recognise the challenges involved, but residents rightly expect action, accountability and results.

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own community.

🤝 Let’s bring Darlington together, listen to residents and turn concerns into meaningful action.

💬 What would YOU like to ask those responsible?

💙 Up and down the country, Conservatives are winning elections!

With just under seven months to go until the local elections in Darlington, the choice is clear.

We are the only team with a real plan for Darlington, and the only team getting out in force to speak directly with residents across our town.

We’re taking on Labour next year, and we’re looking for more sensible, common-sense local people who want to get involved.

People who care not just about national politics, but about the issues affecting our communities, improving our neighbourhoods, supporting local businesses and seeing Darlington thrive!

💙 Want to be part of the team? Get in touch!

Are you happy your Council Tax is being wasted???

To the tune of £1,000,000, Hopetown in Darlington has become a burden for taxpayers.

Amazing facility just not achieving the visitors first envisaged, alongside mistakes made by the Labour administration.

A new recovery plan has been published which has not detailed in numbers how your money will be saved. Do we expect anything different from this Labour Council?

Key issues it has failed to address:-

‼️ Why the planned free use of Wagon Woods was scrapped by Labour, resulting in fewer visitors and resulting secondary spend.

‼️Why after 3 years of pointing out the obvious have the failed to address on street parking issues, supporting local residents and increasing Car Park income.

‼️Why has the Council not advertised the attraction outside of Darlington effectively.

‼️Why they have overstocked merchandise and who is responsible.

‼️Labour Cabinet members and our MP have known what is going on but hidden behind awards without facing up to reality’s.

‼️ Failed to accept our offer to help turn things around

We deserve better than this
