Well done everyone! 🥳

Well done to everyone who finished the Summer Reading Challenge this year - and a big thank you to everyone who came to one of our medal ceremonies! Here's a handful of photos from ceremonies all across Norfolk - a wholesome image we think you'll agree.

Thank you to the various councillors and VIPs who came along to hand out medals and certificates, and of course a huge shoutout to staff and volunteers who make the challenge what it is. While the challenge has finished, if you haven't quite made it in to collect your medal and certificate there's no need to worry - we'll keep them available for a little while longer.

Same again next year?!

EIGHT THOUSAND SIGN UPS TO THE SUMMER READING CHALLENGE!!!!

Over 8000 children have signed up with Norfolk Libraries to take part in The Reading Agency's Summer Reading Challenge, which is frankly amazing. Like, imagine a crowd of 8000 kids all reading brilliant books. Incredible.

The challenge itself is pretty simple - complete 6 reading goals, get stickers, a medal and a certificate. Plus it's all free! So why not head to your local Norfolk library this week to join the fun. It's for ages 4-11, but there's also a mini-challenge for younger readers (no medal, but they do get a shiny gold sticker!)

Well done everyone who has signed up so far - still plenty of time to get involved if you haven't yet (maybe you could sign up when you visit the fancy new Millennium Library...!)

The Summer Reading Challenge is delivered by The Reading Agency in partnership with libraries and powered by Universal Music Group.
