KFD - Kingston Fun Day KFD is a FREE 1 day family friendly festival, held in the quaint village of Kingston, South Devon.

SATURDAY 1st AUGUST. RECREATIONAL GROUND (Devon, UK) 1pm - Late

Live music, Licensed bar, Pimms Bar, FREE Bouncy Castles, Hog Roast, Burger van, Dog Show, Tug of War, Stalls, and much more! All ages welcome :)

What a day! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped smash KFD 2026 out of the park 🙌

We loved seeing you all enjoying this year’s new layout, exploring the Enchanted Wood & Copse Stage 🌿

🎧 Silent Disco headsets!

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to keep you all contained, we are missing quite a few headsets. FYI - we get charged £45 per missing set and they are completely useless outside of a silent disco. Zero hard feelings if you’ve woken up with a pair, but please can you return them today to the field. Thanks!

After months of planning, we're finally here... and we can't wait to welcome you all to KFD 2026! 💚

👑 Fancy Dress entrants: Please meet at the Fire Station by 12:15pm for judging before the procession up to the Rec. KFD officially opens at 1pm.

✔️ DO BRING:

💷 Cash (bar accepts cash & card, but we'd really appreciate cash for items below 👇)
• £5 for parking (right change appreciated!)
• £1 per Dog Show class
• A suggested £2 donation for a programme, packed with band write-ups, event info and a discount for Bays Brewery 🍺

☀️ Sun cream
🐶 Water for your dogs (we'll have limited supplies on site)
😎 Party vibes
😁 A smile for our amazing volunteers

❌ PLEASE DON'T BRING:

🔥 Anything that could start a fire. The fields are incredibly dry, so no BBQs, fire pits or campfires, and please use the sand buckets provided if you're smoking.

🌲 Don't forget to explore our brand new area... The Enchanted Wood! We've transformed the Copse for 2026, and once the sun goes down it'll become home to our late-night Silent Disco. Trust us... you won't want to miss it. ✨🎧

Finally, we'll be pretty busy running around today, so this page may be a little quieter than usual. If you need anything, just find one of our friendly stewards in a high-vis vest and they'll point you in the right direction.

🚗 PARKING - IMPORTANT INFO 🚗

Please help us keep Kingston moving by following the KFD Parking signs through the village to our official car park, just a short walk from the Recreation Ground. Accessible parking is available at the KFD site for Blue Badge holders.

Parking is £5 per vehicle (cash is much appreciated if you can!) and every penny goes to the Kingston Ramp Project - helping create a brand new skate park for the community.

A huge thank you to our local landowners for once again making the parking field available. Please support them, the village and KFD by using the designated car park rather than parking on the lanes.

If you decide to leave your car overnight, please remember it must be collected by 10am on Sunday, as the field is needed for a cricket match. Don't be that person that needs a tractor es**rt off the pitch!

🚒 HELP US KEEP KFD SAFE 🚒

You'll have seen the recent wildfire warnings across Devon. The KFD site, campsite and surrounding countryside are incredibly dry, so we all need to do our bit to keep everyone safe.

🔥 Please help us by following these simple rules🔥
• No campfires, fire pits or BBQs anywhere on site.
• If you're staying at KFD Camp, the only cooking equipment permitted is a contained gas camping stove, which must be raised off the ground.
• If you smoke or v**e, please use the sand buckets provided. A cigarette end on the ground is one too many and it only takes one to start a wildfire.

🚒 With that in mind, we're happy to once again welcome the Kingston Voluntary Fire Service to KFD 🚒

Come and have a look around the fire engine, chat to the crew and find out more about what they do.

🍺 FESTIVAL PRICES? NOT HERE 🍺

KFD was created to be a great day out that doesn't cost the earth, and that includes a cheap bar!

Every pint, c***r and G&T you buy helps keep KFD going. The music, free kids' entertainment, marquees, generators and toilets all have to be paid for, and the bar helps pay for it all.

So, whilst we're not banning BYOB, we really do need your support. If you're planning on a drink or two, please grab it from the KFD bar. It's by far our biggest fundraiser and KFD simply wouldn't happen without it.

A huge thank you to Bays Brewery and Hunt's C***r for continuing to support us and once again getting behind KFD 🙌
