A huge thank you to all our parents and carers who attended our information evening last week. It was great to see so many of you and we hope you found the session helpful and informative.

For anyone who was unable to attend, the presentation slides have been sent in a separate email to all Year 11 parents and carers.

If you were unable to collect all of the resources on the evening, don't worry, all remaining resources will be distributed to students on Monday 2nd November.

Thank you for your continued support.

Well done to our very own brother and sister Stewart and Elsa W who completed a park run at the weekend, it was Elsa's first park run. Elsa and Stewart are shown here together and Elsa is wearing her school colours in preparation for a charity 5k run in January to raise money for SCCCC ( www.scccc.co.uk ).

Good luck for January, we are looking forward to hearing all about it.

Look out for the launch of our very first Parent Survey.
We are excited to hear your views and would love as many parents and carers as possible to take part. Your feedback will help us celebrate what is working well and identify where we can make improvements, ensuring we provide the very best experience for every child.
The survey only takes a few minutes to complete, but the impact of your feedback can be significant. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community and for helping us shape the future of our school.
The survey will close at 3pm on Friday 23rd October.
Together, let's make our school even better for every family. 😊

NCLT Careers Fair – Thursday 22nd October 2026

We are delighted to welcome all Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 pupils to our upcoming NCLT Careers Fair at Brinsworth Academy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to explore a wide range of career options, meet employers and professionals, and discover the many pathways available to them after school.

Pupils will have the chance to find out more about local colleges, sixth forms, A-level options, vocational courses, universities, apprenticeships and training opportunities. They can speak to representatives, ask questions about entry requirements, explore different courses and learn more about the opportunities available to help them achieve their future goals.

For pupils in Year 10 and 11, the fair is a valuable opportunity to explore sixth forms and colleges and consider which courses and qualifications may be right for them after GCSEs. For pupils in Years 12 and 13, it is a chance to investigate university options, apprenticeships and career pathways beyond sixth form or college.

Whether pupils already have a career in mind or are still deciding what they would like to do, the Careers Fair is an excellent opportunity to gain advice, discover new interests and make informed decisions about their next steps.

Important information for parents/carers:

Parents/carers must complete the permission slip on ParentPay for their child to attend the Careers Fair. The event and transportation have been funded by the school and are FREE.

We encourage all eligible pupils to make the most of this valuable opportunity to explore their future pathways and discover the opportunities available to them.
