This December, Christchurch Living Advent Calendar returns —bringing another festive season with surprise venues, free live performances, and support for wonderful local causes! 🎄🎶

Every event is 100% FREE to attend. Fantastic local performers are donating their talent for free, local business sponsors are covering event costs, and every single penny raised on the night through raffles and collection buckets goes directly to our chosen local charities. 🎁❤️

Behind the scenes, this entire festival is proudly organised by the volunteers at the Christchurch Rotary for the benefit of our local community. We can’t wait to share the magic of December with you all!

A huge thank you to Kate Ball, Headteacher at Twynham School, for joining us at our club meeting last night! 🌟

It was a fascinating evening as Kate shared wonderful insights into the vital partnership between our club and the school’s pupils—highlighting wonderful initiatives like Youth Speaks and the Rotary Technology Tournament. 🎤🔧

We also loved hearing about her personal route into teaching, her incredible 25 years of dedication to Twynham School, and an honest look at both the challenges faced in modern education and the countless rewards that come from a career in teaching. 🍎📚

Thank you once again, Kate, for your time, inspiration, and continued support of Christchurch Rotary!

Today is World Polio Day! 🌍

Here at Christchurch Rotary we are immensely proud to support Rotary International’s global mission to rid the world of polio once and for all. As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary has helped slash polio cases by over 99.9% worldwide since 1979!

🎄 A Christmas Good Turn from 3rd Christchurch Brownies ✨

It might only be October, but our Brownies are already spreading Christmas magic where it’s needed most! 🎄✨

Last night, 22nd October, the 3rd Christchurch Brownies completed their Christmas Good Turn to support children in Ukraine. Thanks to a generous donation from Christchurch Rotary, the girls assembled over 100 bags filled with Christmas treats—plus an important safety whistle for emergency situations.

They were thrilled to welcome Mandy from New Forest For Ukraine GROUP , Brian Clarke from Christchurch Rotary, and Councillor Carol Gardner, who joined us to see the project in action!
