Another toy donation dropped off at living springs
On behalf of the Saleem Foundation
I remember when Christmas ment running round filling my living room with toys for my children it was so stressful and never felt enough
Now our Christmas is about putting others first where we can people that know what real stress and hard times mean
Every year the children help me get it all in order and they come up with ideas where we can spread Christmas cheer
We can’t always teach everyone but every year we are a few children closer
Thank you to the Saleem foundation for everything you make possible

My name is Cassie Gray
And I will be standing as your One Community candidate for the local council election representing Pensnett and Brockmoor.

I have always taken great joy in doing work within my community since the age of 16.

I do this because I have a love for our community.

I have four children of my own. I want them to grow up in a world where community means something not just a word said.

So many things have been lost in politics and I want to bring that local feeling back. I want to show people what it really means to be a councillor working for the people speaking for the people, not just a name on a piece of paper and only showing up when elections are near.

I make it my mission to be available 24 hours a days 365 days a year.

To be seen and not just heard, to be a voice for people, I will work tirelessly to bring back the word one community and stand by everything that means.

It’s time to put community over politics, it's time to vote Independent so on 19th December use your vote and

This will be an issue for all struggling businesses and families.
There is no benefit to us the people the council have proven no matter how much we pay we as the people never see where it goes our roads are still a mess our green space continues to get cut down.
We need to have our voices heard
Be a part of that

There is nothing more heartwarming the being able to donate £100 on behalf of the Saleem Foundation

This morning, along with Cassie Gray, we visited the Church of the Ascension, Wall Heath to support their "Repair the clock" campaign.

Many have noticed that the clock on the tower of the Church of the Ascension has stopped working this year.

The façade of the church and the clock, which faces due west, has been a feature of Wall Heath Village life since the church was built in 1892 but after 132 years it seems the synchronous motor has broken

In order to support this important cause, on behalf of the Saleem Foundation, the Vice-chair Cassie donated £100.

It was a real pleasure to have the opportunity to meet Grace (Operations Manager), Sheila (member), and Father Chris Smith.

We are so amazed of the hard work being done behind the scenes and we are very excited the Church of Ascention will be part of the "Jingle the Wall Heath way - Santa Trail event on 14th December, tickets go on sale 1st October.
