At our interactive family service recently, we were celebrating the Harvest festival. We played lots of food-themed games including Maki Staki, Pizza Topple, Build a Burger and Who Put The Marmite In The Fridge. Amidst al the food and fun, we were reminded of Jesus' words recorded in Matthew that “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few". There is work for all of us.

All this good weather coincides with National Picnic Week here in the UK. Families, friends and colleagues are encouraged to pack a hamper, grab a blanket and enjoy a picnic in a park, garden, beach or countryside location.
No matter what you pack or where you go, it won't be as exciting as the time Jesus took a little boy's lunch to feed over 5,000 people. Read the full story in either Matthew chapter 14 or Mark chapter 6, or play our 2by 2 matching pairs game.

At our interactive service recently, we were studying the story of the prodigal son. We played Pass The Pigs, Grab The Pig and Grabolo - all games featuring pigs.
The story of the prodigal son teaches us about God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and the joy of repentance and restoration. You can learn more about this story on REsearch, our free online education resource on the Lootro website, or by playing our 2by2 card game.

It’s “Happy Bears Day” here in Dundee. Visitors to the local wildlife park got to meet their 3 bears. I hope there were no rowdy children like those encountered by bald-headed prophet Elisha!
Check out Elisha on the REsearch education resource on our website, play our Gory Story card game or read 2 Kings chapter 2 for the full story.
