🎉 Massive Congratulations to Gnr H! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Gnr H has successfully completed his Army Reserve basic training battle camp course! Over the past two weeks in Wales, he was rigorously put through his paces, culminating in a challenging exercise in the notorious Sennybridge training area.

But that's not all! Gnr H is now preparing for the Light Gun course, where he will be trained to operate the L118 Light Gun, the British Army’s only air-mobile Artillery.

81 years ago, Europe celebrated the end of war in Europe and the beginning of peace.

Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the generation who fought for freedom and those who never came home.

On VE Day 2026, we honour the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and civilians whose service changed history forever. Their legacy continues to inspire future generations across the Armed Forces and beyond.

The officers and soldiers of 105 Regiment Royal Artillery Reserve stand in remembrance and gratitude alongside the nation as we mark 81 years since Victory in Europe Day.
