58 generous people have now sent donations for our replacement interpretation board πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

We are not too far off the target, so if you can spare a few pounds to help is get there, we'd be really grateful.

Thank you πŸ™‚

Thank you very much to Roslin Heritage Society for providing information about the history of the Moat Pit, and also to the National Mining Museum of Scotland in Newtongrange (nationalminingmuseum.com) for these fascinating photos of Roslin Colliery.

If you have any comments on what should be included on the board, please do let us know. [email protected]

Our interpretation panel...

We are very pleased to say that councillor Pauline Wi******er has kindly offered to part-fund a replacement.

However, we do need more money to make this happen, so if you can, please donate via our GoFundMe page:

You may have seen that our noticeboard on Penicuik Road fell down a year or so ago, and the one by the railway path is literally on its last legs!

However the folks from Roslin Community Changers are working to repair the Penicuik Road one, and councillor Pauline Wi******er has kindly offered to part-fund a replacement for the other one.

We do need more money for this though, so please can you share our GoFundMe page:
