🎂 Recently, we visited ESPC (UK) Limited to celebrate their 55th birthday - supporting home buyers and sellers across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and the Borders.

📽️ As one of our valued corporate partners, we also took the opportunity to sit down with ESPC CEO Paul Hilton for a fireside chat to discuss the value and benefits of collaboration - and the systemic issues that young people continue to face throughout a national housing emergency.

💬 Interviewed by our very own Kate Polson, Paul's shares astute observations from his experience in the private sector - recognising the value of prevention, wasted high street spaces and a lack of political will to meet increasing housing demands.

As a charity, Rock Trust wouldn't be able to do the work we do without the support of our amazing partners like ESPC. ❤️

We’re delighted to share that Upstream UK won the Homeless Link Award for Successful Partnerships 🎉

Upstream UK is a four-nation partnership focused on preventing youth homelessness through early identification and support. Led by Llamau alongside Centrepoint, MACS Supporting Children and us leading in Scotland.

The programme works with schools and local services to identify young people at risk and offer support before crisis point. Across all four nations, 98% of young people supported through Upstream have remained safely at home, while 85% of families achieved personal wellbeing goals, including better communication, reduced conflict and stronger relationships.

This recognition highlights the power of early, relationship-centred support delivered through genuine collaboration, and we’re proud to be part of it.

A huge thank you to Beauty Banks for their donation of toiletries to our Glasgow Hub 💙

Beauty Banks works to tackle hygiene poverty by providing essential hygiene products to charities and community organisations supporting people who need them most and we’re incredibly grateful to be one of them.

These donations will go directly to the young people we support providing everyday essentials. Small things like shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste can have a huge impact on confidence and will make a real difference to the young people who come through our services.

Too many LGBTQ+ young people in Scotland experience homelessness because they don’t feel safe or supported at home.

We partnered with LGBT Youth Scotland to create a peer-led report on housing rights and homelessness, shaped directly by young people with lived experience.

🏳️‍🌈 During Pride Month, it’s important to reflect on the realities many LGBTQ+ young people still face and the changes still needed.

The findings highlight the need for earlier support, inclusive services, and a housing system where every young person feels safe. To read the full report head to rocktrust.org
