Today we hosted our final drop-in at Veterans First Point Lothian, at our current base at Edinburgh Erskine Home. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces there to say goodbye. We would like to say thank you to all in the veterans community that have been involved over the past 15 years.
We have worked to support over 2500 veterans since we opened doors in 2009 and it has been a privilege to be able support such a resilient group of individuals.
NHS Lothian remain committed to supporting Veterans. The team has always aimed to be a service designed by veterans to meet the needs of veterans. We hope to collaborate with all stakeholders as we develop a new model on the reduced budget going forward.
But for now it is farewell and warmest wishes from,
The team at Veterans First Point Lothian

Lest we forget - Today we remember and pay our respects to all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We will remember those that did not come home and honour all those that returned many of whom carry the physical and mental scars.

It is with regret that we need to share this recent update on veterans First Point Lothian services.
We would encourage any veteran service user affected by this decision to contact the team for support. All existing appointments will still be offerrred as planned and a member of staff will work with you on your care plan.
If you would like to give feedback on this decision, please direct this to NHS Lothian Patient Experience team by calling 0131 4655658 or emailing [email protected]
