On Thursday we went through to Glasgow for the Scottish Charity Awards! It was such a fun evening, and we had a great time at our table with fellow nominees for Small Charity of the Year ! The inspiring won in our category for the amazing work they do promoting diversity and tolerance in Scotland through the lessons of the Srebrenica genocide. It was humbling and inspiring to hear about so many brilliant charities!

We are so delighted to be finalists, and to receive this recognition as we celebrate 15 years of EGP. Thank you to all our volunteers, garden owners and supporters - you make EGP, and we celebrate you!!

It's volunteer week, and what better time to share the exciting news that Natalia, a longstanding EGP volunteer, has won Volunteer Edinburgh's Inspiring Volunteer Award!! Huge congratulations to Natalia, and thank you to all our other amazing, inspiring volunteers too! 🎉🎉🎉

Yesterday was our Garden Owner coffee morning at the ! We chatted over coffee and beautiful cake, shared pictures of EGP gardens and other happenings, heard a bit about what goes on at the Eric Liddell Centre and even played some rounds of vegetable bingo! It was a joy to catch up with you all, and thank you to everyone at Eric Liddell for such a warm welcome.☕🍰🌱🌞✨

🎉We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are finalists in SCVO's Scottish Charity Awards! We're up for Charity of the Year (under 100k turnover) alongside three other fantastic charities - and . It's a real honour to be recognised in this way, and testament to the hard work of our wonderful volunteers and garden owners 🎉

Last weekend we took down a shed! And built some beds! another successful SOS session completed. A big thank to our wonderful volunteers (and volunteers pals) who give their time and energy to helping us create more growing spaces across the city 🌞🌱

What a beautiful day for it! We spent Sunday at Granton Walled Garden making spring bouquets in the sunshine 🌷🌸🌺🌼

It was the perfect sunny day yesterday for our EGP roadshow 🌞 we came to you in a range of locations across town to chat about garden sharing and especially how to refer older/disabled garden owners for us to find them a volunteer.

We borrowed a brilliant cargo bike from .edinburgh, which meant we were able to peddle our wares (/hot drinks and biscuits for anyone wanting to find out more about EGP) all over Edinburgh.
