Delighted to welcome our MP to the office this morning.

It was great to meet with Edinburgh Women's Aid today.

I’m really grateful to the team for taking the time to chat and share more about the work they do supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

It was a really valuable conversation, and it’s clear just how much of a difference their work makes to people’s lives.

A huge thank you to everyone at Edinburgh Women’s Aid for everything you do 💜

We were delighted to welcome Equalities Minister, Kaukab Stewart MSP and COSLA’s Cllr Maureen Chalmers to our offices today to launch the latest Equally Safe progress reports.

The Minister and Cllr Chalmers both highlighted the importance of the partnership between the Scottish Government, Local Authorities and direct specialist services, such as Edinburgh Women’s Aid, in delivering Equally Safe. We remain committed to playing our part to make Scotland safer for women and girls.
