We had our 3rd 1920s-themed Murder Mystery of the year last Sunday and as always it was so much fun. Thanks again to Edinburgh Living History for making the day so special with their skill, talent and dedication. Thanks to all our visitors who thoroughly entered the spirit of the evening.

Summer may be over but our Friends of Lauriston Castle Estate garden group are busy as ever getting the place winter-ready to keep Lauriston as beautiful as always and complementing the work of our gardener Jim. The volunteers are currently busy tidying beds, gathering pesky leaves, and tidying up edges. We thank them for all the work they do helping to keep Lauriston Castle beautiful. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with us, ring the castle on 0131 336 2060.
