Join us at London Landmarks Half Marathon on 4th April 2027 🏅
Runners set off outside Whitehall, taking in the stunning sights of historic Westminster, before heading down the Embankment and experiencing spectacular views of the landmarks along the River Thames. Finally, they soak in the old and new of the City and make their way back to the finish line.
It’s not just the energy of the crowds or the finish line celebrations that make the LLHM so special, it’s the incredible landmarks runners see along the way on this fast and flat iconic course!

Meet Buttons 🐑
Buttons is the only orphan lamb this season on a farm where our Support Practitioners provide social care support in Lochgilphead.
Since he arrived, the team have been helping to feed him during visits. Now that he's getting bigger, they take him out for a wee walk when they have time. It helps him get used to the grass and encourages him to start grazing for himself.
Buttons is happy enough to follow along, although he's not always keen to head back to his stall afterwards!
This week, he started lamb feed pellets alongside his milk and is doing really well. His owners hope he'll be ready to rejoin the flock in the next couple of weeks.
The team will be sad to see Buttons head back to the flock, but they're delighted to have helped him along the way. We have a feeling he'll still come looking for a familiar face when he spots them passing by. 💜

A huge congratulations and thank you to our fundraisers who took on the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in May in scorching weather!
Together, Neil, Gillian and Catherine raised an incredible £1,185 for Carr Gomm's community projects and activities, smashing their fundraising targets.
Catherine shared, "I really enjoyed my 10km, I got a new personal best by about 3 minutes. The weather was gorgeous, and there were lovely views from Arthur's Seat. I love running to keep up with my fitness, both mental and physical, but I really enjoyed fundraising for the people I support."
An incredible effort from everyone involved. 👏

Wow, another ‘Very Good’ from the Care Inspectorate!
This time for our wonderful teams in Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire. The staff were praised for being ‘committed’ and for promoting ‘enjoyment and fun’.
A person supported by Carr Gomm told the Care Inspectorate: "I am very well supported and treated with dignity and respect. The team always find ways to make me happy, always putting lots of effort into my support. I really loved my holiday this year. It was so nice to get away. Recently I have been unwell, and the team have worked really hard adjusting my support for me.”
Well done, team, for your passion and dedication in your work.

A huge congratulations to Ina and Rita, two of our brilliant Support Practitioners working in Highland, who have achieved their SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.👏
Both Ina and Rita spoke about never thinking this was something they would achieve. Through hard work and commitment they’ve both proved to themselves just what they’re capable of.
It’s been amazing to see their confidence grow throughout the journey, and we’re so proud of everything they’ve achieved.
Please join us in congratulating Ina and Rita. 💜
