Need some help preparing your Fashion Showcase homemade item? We've got 4 drop ins until the runway show that you can join! Drop Ins are Monday evenings and Thursday afternoons and are open to adults 16+. You MUST have prior experience sewing on a sewing machine, but if you'd like to come along and knit, hand sew, or prepare another craft that isn't machine sewed, you can absolutely attend the drop ins anyway!

Announcing a Kids Sewing Makerspace on Saturday 13 June from 10-11:30! Come finalize your homemade item for the Fashion Showcase which is on the 22nd of June from 6-7:30. This is for kids/teens aged 9+ who have taken our beginner sewing class before and/or have prior experience using a sewing machine. They can make whatever they want and a tutor will be there to help. No sign ups required, but send Jessi an email if you'd like to walk the runway in the Fashion Showcase: [email protected]

Do you have a kid/teen who has participated in one of our sewing classes, makerspaces, or Crochet Club? They can rock the runway showing off their homemade creations! It can be sewn, crocheted, knitted, painted, anything... as long as it's homemade! This Fashion Showcase is open to ALL AGES, so if you're an adult who loves to craft you can participate too! Just email Jessi or come visit us to sign up.

ROCK THE RUNWAY in Wester Hailes Library's FASHION SHOWCASE! It's on Monday, 22 June from 6-7:30pm. Anyone (any age!) can show off anything homemade! It can be sewn, knit, crocheted, painted, etc - as long as you made it! Participation is FREE! Signups are required though, so please email [email protected] or visit us in person!

We looking for donations of outdoor plants to add colour to garden at the library.

FYI: There will be no tutor at this coming Mondays quilting class, however we will still be meeting at our usual time 11 am 📍(Monday 01/06/26)
