We had a lot of gorgeous contributions to our Bookbug's Big Quest wall art, inspired by this year's beautiful artwork by Shirley Hottier. Thanks to everyone who drew magical beings to populate our map!

Later this afternoon, Jaima will be here to tell us all about a certain animal...

..which has a very useful long tail, swings from tree to tree and loves hanging out in groups.

Can you guess what it is?

Yup, it's library staff.

*only kidding, actually it's monkeys.

We have an amazing collection of books written by Edinburgh authors, and even two new ones written by two Granton authors too. Thomas Nolan went from growing up in Granton/wardieburn onto an Australian football pitch, and Hugh McGauran one of the “Auld Team” lads from Granton. Fascinating reads from both of them, and ready to borrow from Granton Library.

Beautiful sunny day for Bookbug at 11am this morning. We have some lovely baby clothes looking for new homes today too. If you can’t make Bookbug, pop in anytime this morning and have a look. 🌞
