BLACKROCK - STOP CRUSHING US
Extinction Rebellion Scotland, Mothers against Genocide, Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign and others held a creative, noisy Earth Day protest outside BlackRock offices in Edinburgh today
šŖØ BlackRock is the worldās largest investment asset manager using the immense power of its algorithms and wealth to fund three crimes against life and humanity: AI, fossil fuels, war and genocide.
BlackRock must stop using its power to crush humanity, and stop funding death by algorithm. Google any distaster and inevitably BlackRock is funding it: arms companies in Israel, Big Oil, Big Tech, Palantir, surveillance - the lot.
š„ It was great to see drummers from the Rhythms of Resistance network and Discobedience dancers joining us. Three corpses were dressed in shrouds labelled with the words: BlackRock Funds Climate Violence, War and Genocide, AI terror.

BlackRock are greenwashing: investment funds the company was calling 'sustainable' really werenāt, as they have poured over a billion into fossil fuel companies including Shell and BP.
BlackRock has more than $5bn invested in agribusiness companies that have been implicated in Amazon, environmental and human rights abuses.
They really are crushing everyone and everything for profit. How many more trillions do you need?
