💎 International Women’s Day 💎 Innes has been home to the most amazing women throughout time , there is too many to fill here but the ones who work and live there today should get a special mention ! Keeping the house alive for generations to come , they are contributing to a long line of passionate women who speak their minds and adore this house as much as those who have come before ! I cannot leave this day without a nod to my favourite Tennant ! Kakoo as she was affectionately known , (Kathleen ), was born 1894 , and went on to become the Duchess of Rutland , niece of the formidable Margot Asquith and was the youngest daughter of Francis and Annie who purchased Innes in 1913 . A beautiful lady with a sense of societal proprieties whilst retaining a level of fun , she was also a wee bit of a rebel and I think we should all be a bit rebellious ! 🙌 BE BOLD BE BEAUTIFUL BE YOU BE A REBEL
