Read to the, read to the, read to the beat!

Over the summer, children got creative in the library, transforming everyday materials into their very own musical instruments. From drums to shakers, there was plenty of crafting, creativity and noise-making fun! 🎨✨

What was your favourite instrument to make?

WE’RE OPENING A BRAND NEW POETRY HUB!

Our flagship community initiative is growing once again, and we couldn’t be happier to announce that the next member of our Poetry Hub family is coming to Epsom Library!

Epsom Library
Launching Wednesday 21st October
10am–12pm
Every other Wednesday thereafter
Completely FREE

The new Hub will be facilitated by Gary Hill and Georgina Adolph, and we know it’s in fantastic hands.

Gary already knows just how special these spaces can be, having previously supported Jacky Power at our Dorking Poetry Hub before his promotion at Epsom Library. Now, alongside Georgina, he’ll be helping us bring that same welcoming, creative community to Epsom.

Our Poetry Hubs are about so much more than putting words on a page. They’re places to meet people, try something new, share ideas, build confidence and enjoy a couple of hours surrounded by creativity... whether you’ve been writing for years or have never written a poem before.

Seeing the Hub family grow once again is incredibly exciting, and we’d love you to help us give Epsom the welcome it deserves!

Join us and some special guests on 21st October for the official launch.

New town. New community. New poems. Same Hub atmosphere.

Welcome to the family, Epsom! 💚
