To make people aware if they did not already know . If you park in the St Thomas precinct and want to use some of the wonderful shops that are not within that area that occupy the car park ,you are at risk of a £60 fine . It would appear that that a car park attendant will watch people vacate their vehicles and may stick a ticket on those who cross the street to visit places like the wonderful Butchers . I am going to message the St Thomas Local Councillors to see if they can come to an arrangement with the car park owners . Businesses in this area need every bit of help they can get and this seems like another hurdle they have to deal with .

This is an update on Cowick Street and the new timescale of when work will be completed . Not the news I wanted to hear but it is what it is .

ECC have said they will send a sweeper up Redhills today to clear the leaves and when resources allow they will look at the w**ds .A big thank-you and shows we can work together .Lower Exwick Hill is also being looked at .👍

Hi everyone . I am back on Facebook after my hospital stay . Here are some updates . Dates for Station Road roadworks with diversion routes and also Exwick Hill to clear a blockage in the carriageway . Also it is good to see the lamppost is now replaced in Knowles Drive and that road resurfacing in Hayward Avenue is hopefully going to be finished this month . I will chase up regarding w**d clearance on Redhills . Any other problems you think I can look into don’t be afraid to contact me .

I was released from Hospital yesterday PM . Unfortunately I cannot drive for about a week and I have to rest . Any issues you need looking at please contact [email protected] . Something I need to know is the lamppost in Knowles Drive been replaced as if not I will chase it up . I have Redhills on the list for a visit by the Community Payback Team for a future visit. Otherwise it is nice to home .

Unfortunately ,due to current restraints in the budget and resources DCC have said they are unable to review the post implementation of Resident Parking Schemes or the proposal for alternative residents parking at this time . Regrettably this means that the parking issues residents face in certain areas of Exwick will continue for the near future .

Like so many people ,I will never forget where I was on 9/11 . So many lives lost 25 years ago . Today at County Hall , we,like a lot of other people , stopped to remember them . A tragic event that changed the way we live forever .

A fantastic Event coming up in the city .Exeter Food Action Festival at Princesshay Square on 20th September . It is an event that is promoting cooking with food waste ,with loads of activities for the family . Come along and show your support .
