From habitats and food chains to plants and pollinators, our curriculum-linked ‘Discover’ sessions bring learning to life. Choose a visit led by our team or explore at your own pace with a self-led day.

✨ And there’s something exciting on the horizon! We’ll soon be opening our brand-new Discovery Centre - a dedicated space for school visits, designed to make learning even more immersive, inspiring and engaging.

Of course, the best part of visiting will always be stepping outside the classroom! With diverse habitats to explore and wildlife to discover, there’s so much to spark curiosity in the great outdoors. 🐦

🌿 Exciting plans are taking shape for 2027!

Today, some of the Pensthorpe team swapped the office for a day of inspiration at jimmysfarmhq

We spent the day reflecting on the past year, sharing ideas and exploring new ways to make your visits to Pensthorpe even more memorable, whilst planning our 2027 events programme.

From exciting events and family experiences to new ideas for across the park, there was plenty of creativity, enthusiasm and some really exciting discussions about what the future could hold! 💚

We also enjoyed exploring Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park, seeing how another fantastic visitor attraction brings its experiences to life, and taking away plenty of inspiration.

A huge thank you to our friends and the team at Jimmy’s Farm for making us so welcome!

We’ve got lots to look forward to, and we can’t wait to share more of our plans for 2027 with you.

Take a look back at the bustle and festive atmosphere of previous years as we get ready for the return of one of Norfolk’s biggest and best-established Christmas markets!

Explore over 75 indoor and outdoor stalls filled with artisan gifts, handcrafted treasures, and delicious local food and drink, all in the wonderful setting of Pensthorpe Natural Park.

It's a chance for your class, school, group or home ed group to WIN entry tickets for your whole class! 🌟

🍂 Create a freestanding scarecrow inspired by autumn nature - one entry per class or group.
📍 Deliver it to Pensthorpe between 15–20 October.
🗳️ Visitors will vote for their favourite during our half-term Pumpkin Festival!

There’s a colourful cast coming to our pumpkin site this autumn. Here’s who you’ll find…

🧡 The classic orange - the familiar face of Halloween, ready for your carving creations.

🔥 Fireball - bold orange and yellow stripes make these little showstoppers easy to spot.

👻 Warty Goblin - wonderfully bumpy, brilliantly bizarre and full of character. Those warts are all natural!

💛 Mellow Yellow - a sunny splash of colour amongst the autumn oranges.

🤍 Polar Bear - big, pale and eye-catching. Who says pumpkins have to be orange?

🍂 The squash squad - a mixed bunch of shapes, colours and personalities to complete the line-up.
