Our new village sweeper and handyman, James, has been busy in the play area making good of the steps to the slide/playhouse.

There is still have one of the protruding pieces of step to finish off, which he will get back to another day.

🌳 A big thank you to Simba and Tom from the B&NES Council tree team for dealing with the fallen tree at The Rec today — much appreciated! 👏

As part of our commitment to keeping Farmborough's green spaces safe and well-maintained, the Parish Council carries out an annual tree survey across all our facilities — The Memorial Hall, The Rec, and the Allotments. Any issues identified are followed up with planned works.

There's still some further tree work scheduled before the end of the month across all three sites 📅, so you may see more activity in the village over the coming weeks. 🪚
