We are excited to share that as part of our Library Transformation Programme we will shortly be carrying out refurbishment works at Farnham library!
These works will also see Registration Services co-located within the same building as the library.
The proposed designs will be displayed in the library from Monday 15 June – Monday 6 July, with feedback forms available for you to share your feedback and proposals for future events you’d like to see in the new space.
We will also be holding an engagement session with customers on Tuesday 16 June from 10am-4pm for you to have the opportunity to talk to a member of the project team.
We expect the works at the library to take place in autumn 2026 and will update you further when timescales are confirmed.
Please find more information about the changes here: https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/community/hubs/farnham-library-hub

It's not every day you see toads at Farnham Library! 🐸
A big thank you to the Surrey Reptile and Amphibian Group (SARG) for bringing these wonderful, rescued toads in for the 'Get Close to Nature' event as part of Garden Wildlife Week, as well as for bringing so much expertise! 💚
And a big thank you to all the families who engaged so curiously with these gentle creatures and the lovely volunteers from SARG!
