Aldi has submitted a planning application to vary the permitted delivery hours to start an hour earlier. The clause would be amended to:

No deliveries shall take place outside the hours of 0̶7̶0̶0̶ 06:00 - 21:00 hours Monday to Saturday and 0̶9̶:̶0̶0̶ 08:00 - 20:00 hours on a Sunday, bank or public holiday.

Final few days to Have Your Say on the Community Governance Review, which proposes changes to Watling Ward. This online consultation closes on Tuesday 2 June.

In Faversham, SBC is considering:

▪️ increasing the number of councillors representing Watling Ward and/or Priory Ward
▪️ splitting the existing Faversham Town Council’s (FTC) Watling Ward into two
▪️ extending FTC’s Watling Ward boundaries
▪️ transferring land from Faversham Town Council to Sheldwich Parish Council
▪️ transferring land from Ospringe Parish Council to Faversham Town Council
▪️ transferring land from Boughton under Blean and Selling Parish Council to Faversham Town Council
▪️ transferring land from Graveney-with-Goodnestone Parish Council to Faversham Town Council
