As a woman in politics my Statement on the removal of Cllr Hudson from the county council cabinet.
This AI image that appeared yesterday was shared by numerous people across the political spectrum, not because of what it represents but because none of us realised that we had turned the clocks back by half a century or more rather than an hour last week.
Cllr Hudson needs to reflect on the damage done not just to his own party, the council he sits on , the residents he represents but to everyone who is involved in local government.
If he chooses not to resign I would like to hope that the leader of the council will make the right decision and the leader of reform UK steps in
I hope that the Councillor who was turned into an Ai meme is ok and can continue without prejudice or backlash from his ill thought out and poor taste post.
