This week marks Children of Foster Carers' Week, a special time dedicated to recognizing the incredible young people who share their homes, their parents and their hearts with foster children.

Growing up in a fostering household takes immense kindness, patience, and generosity. The birth children of foster carers are an essential part of the fostering team.

Today, we are celebrating the vital role these young people play in making foster children feel like part of the family from day one. They learn to share their space, adapt to new routines, and navigate the emotional journey of welcoming and saying goodbye to foster siblings. Their empathy and hospitality truly change lives.
