🎉𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐍! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views on our Exhibitor Policy.

We sent our survey to 400+ Exhibitors, Patrons and Trade visitors, and received 125 responses — an encouraging response rate of around 31%. 🙌

And the results speak for themselves:

🐟 92% agree with our existing policy that anyone who owns a koi dealership should not exhibit at the National.

🐟 74% agree that people working within the koi trade should not exhibit at the National.

🇬🇧 79% believe the National Koi Show should remain open to UK hobbyists only.

𝐒𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧?
With such strong support for the current policy — alongside the feedback we've received from this year's Exhibitors, Trades and Patrons — we will not be looking to make any changes to our Exhibitor Policy for the forthcoming year.

We'd like to say a massive 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to everyone who took part. ❤️

Your feedback matters, and it plays an important role in helping us ensure that the National Koi Show continues to reflect the views, interests and values of the hobby.

The pie charts below show the percentage breakdown of responses to each of the main questions in our recent Exhibitor Policy survey.

Thank you for getting involved! 🙏

📣 𝐖𝐞’𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮! 📣

Following this year’s National Koi Show, we’re asking our Patrons, Exhibitors and Trade visitors to share their thoughts on our current exhibitor policy.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will help us as we look at how we can continue to improve the show for everyone.

📝 If you’ve received our survey email, please take a few minutes to complete it.
📩 Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folder if you can’t see it!

If you’re a Patron, exhibited at this year’s show, or attended in a trade capacity and haven’t received the survey link, please drop me a message and I’ll be happy to resend it.

Every response counts, and we really appreciate your time and feedback! 🙏🐠

Thanks,

Matt Stevens

📣𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐨𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 📣

We're moving the National Koi Show from its traditional late-June slot to the 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 (𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡-𝟑𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕).

This decision follows the extreme heat we've experienced in recent years, including UKHSA Red Heat-Health Alerts and exceptionally high temperatures, which created challenging conditions for both the koi and the volunteers, exhibitors, traders and staff who work hard to make the show happen.

We want to be upfront that this isn't a guaranteed solution. UK weather is unpredictable, and no date can completely rule out extreme conditions. However, based on what we've experienced over the past two years, we believe this gives us the best chance of avoiding the issues we've all faced.

The National Koi Show has always been known as an outdoor event, and we're committed to keeping it that way. We hope you'll support us as we make this change and look forward to welcoming you to the 𝟒𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐨𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡-𝟑𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.

📍 Same venue.
📅 New date.
🎏 We can't wait to see you there.
