BRODIE ILLUMINATED STARTS THIS THURSDAY, 5TH NOV!!!!!!

We cannot believe we are already in November and we start in a few days - we are so excited to see you!

Have you been thinking of making an evening of it and having something to eat when you are here? Well, we think this might tempt you in to doing just that...

We are delighted to announce that our catering will be as follows:

Our Playful Cafe will be open throughout the event offering you sweet treats, hot drinks and other refreshments. Every Thursday you can also have your choice from fab Brisket buns, hot dogs, a toastie or a warming soup.

At the weekends, we also are delighted to be joined by some fantastic outside cateres who will be thrilled to welcome you!

Each day from Friday, 6th to Sunday the 8th, you can enjoy a fab meal from Seasonal Flavour

Friday, 13th until Sunday, 15th we will have Moray Hog Roast Company in to tantalise your tastebuds.

Our third weekend of Friday, 20th until Sunday, 22nd you will be able to savour a 'pizza the action' from Duffus Pizza.

And to round off a wonderful selection, on the Friday, 27th - Sunday 29th, you can fill yourself up with a dish from Oregano Mobile Catering !

Here’s some information which should hopefully make this year’s booking experience a bit easier to see when sessions have sold out.

All 3 weekends will be on sale in December with 10-minute timeslots between 10am and 4pm.

Prices: 1 child £25, 2 children £45, 3 children £60

Each day will be on sale separately which should make it easier to see when sessions have sold out. Select the date and timeslot desired and follow the booking process.

Tickets are non-refundable, it is your responsibility to check your order throughout the booking process.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Each time slot can accommodate 2 adults per booking. If you wish to bring additional adults inside for the Castle experience, please purchase additional guests as an add on. These are £5 per guest unless they are members of National Trust Scotland. Please note, valid membership cards will have to be presented on arrival to the castle.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲?
Your ticket gives access to Brodie Castle’s principal rooms decorated for Christmas🎄, Christmas crafts✏️, a Santa visit for up to 10 minutes 🎅, a small gift from the big man himself🎁, a Christmas story from Mrs Claus🤶, plus a small hot chocolate per child☕.
Your Santa visit is for up to 10 minutes. You can bring up to three children to your 10-minute time slot. If you have more children in your group, please book the relevant amount of tickets in the same session or, failing that, it may be possible to book back-to-back sessions – eg book 10.10 and 10.20. All children paid for will receive a gift.
The full festive experience lasts approximately 1 hour.

We also have an exciting Christmas trail for the family, which is an excellent way to burn off that energy in the lead-up to the big day! Purchase your trail tickets as an ‘add on’ to your Santa visit for only £2.75 per child and receive your trail and a prize. You can also purchase the trail on the day.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
The castle is a historic building, therefore visits involve steps, staircases and uneven surfaces throughout.

𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Yes. There is a £5 parking charge. Members enjoy free parking on presentation of their National Trust for Scotland car parking sticker. If you are interested in becoming a member, please speak to one of our team or head to our Join page.

We are OPEN! Wednesday, 28th October 💛

Following the storms over the weekend, our team have completed safety checks on site and Brodie Castle and the immediate estate have reopened this morning.

The main path around the pond is open, please follow on-site signs for your safety .

We have the following tours available today: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30, 1.30pm and 3.30pm

The Playful Cafe and Playful Garden are open as normal, 10am - 4pm.

Following the storm over the weekend, our team have completed safety checks on site and Brodie Castle and the immediate estate have reopened this morning.

The pond will remain closed today and tomorrow, Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October. We will advise when it is safe to reopen.

The signs are out and the day is nearly upon us!

The Brodie Castle 10k 2026 will be on tomorrow and they have a full event of 400 runners!

We would ask everyone to take care as they arrive to the Estate tomorrow as the runners will be on the roads around, and entrance drive of, the Castle. Our entrance drive will be closed for a few minutes at 11am to allow the runners to set off.

If you are taking part, registration is open from 9.30am and is in our Stables building, to the left of the Castle and at the back. Toilets are at the Stables, back of the Castle or the car park as well.

We would ask all runners to please have their confirmation from the organisers handy before they arrive on the Estate to speed up the entrance process. Please park sensibly and if you are able to car share, even better! Spectators cars will be charged our usual car park fee if you are not a member of the National Trust for Scotland.

We will have bacon rolls in our Castle Cafe available for purchase alongside our usual selection of pasties, soups, sandwiches, sweet treats and hot and cold refreshments. Our Playful Cafe will also be open with it usual selection of rolls, baguettes, toasties, paninis and more.
