๐ŸŽ‰ We are delighted to announce the appointment of Councillor Celia Stuart-Lee as the new Mayor of Gerrards Cross Town Council! ๐ŸŽ‰

On behalf of the Councillors and staff, we warmly congratulate Councillor Stuart-Lee on her appointment and look forward to seeing all that she will achieve over the next two years, working closely with our community to continue strengthening, supporting and building our wonderful town.

A message from the Mayor:

โ€œIt is an honour to be elected as the new Mayor of Gerrards Cross. Having grown up here, I returned in 2010 to find that my village had become a town. My father, Cyril Hogarth, was Chairman of the Parish Council for several years, and it is lovely to be following in his footsteps albeit with a different title. We have a great team of Councillors โ€“ twelve volunteers who generously give up a lot of their time to do their bit for Gerrards Cross. This includes making the best use of our precept money, scrutinising planning applications, looking after the Commons and the Camp, organising community events, looking after roads and streetlights, maintaining CCTV cameras and a host of other things. There is nothing glamorous about these activities, but I think that all the Councillors gain a sense of satisfaction from helping to make Gerrards Cross a good place in which to live.โ€
