Welcome to the new page for GAAF! We are hosting a rally tomorrow at 12pm outside the Main Gates of the University, campaigning for more sustainable investments that better reflect the values of students, staff, and the institution itself.

As you all know, GUADC is a university campaign. As such, we have for a long time felt the time is right to hand over to current staff and students of UofG - and now we finally have capacity to! Please come along to our handover meeting on Tuesday the 11/10 at 6pm, and bring along any pals who are interested in taking over the running of this campaign to make the university divest from the arms trade! Let’s keep the fight going!

Last night we decorated University Avenue as we continue to demand that the University divests from fossil fuels!

Today the .greennewdeal coalition protested for their deal outside of the uni, demanding an end to the growth model of profit by the uni, and an adoption of their radical sustainability plan. Their deal demands full divestment now.

F**k the arms trade, f**k capitalism, f**k the UofG managers who preside over this state of affairs.

5pm in the QMU Activism Space (otherwise known as Committee Room 1) which is the last door on the right at the end of the top floor corridor - turn left when you get out the lift.

We’re gonna be making signs and banners, sharing posters, and thinking tactics for the weeks ahead.

Sorry for the poor communication since the last meeting, there was a mix up in responsibilities!
