Our learners in the Painting Department have been working hard creating geometric paint effects, developing their taping, measuring, and painting skills along the way π¨π·π»ββοΈπ·ββοΈ

Our learners have been hard at work over the past few weeks in the Painting department!
They have been developing their skills in geometric painting, learning how to accurately measure, mark out and create eye catching designs using masking tape and professional painting techniques.
Throughout the project, learners have gained hands on experience in surface preparation, taping, cutting in, applying paint evenly, and achieving clean, sharp lines. Itβs been fantastic to see their confidence, creativity and attention to detail grow with each session.
Well done to everyone involved the results speak for themselves! ππ¨

Our learners have been hard at work today developing their painting skills! π¨
Todayβs session focused on learning how to correctly cut in around edges and corners, as well as using the appropriate tools for the job, including rollers and brushes. Learners practised applying paint evenly, improving their technique, and gaining confidence in using the equipment safely and effectively.
Well done to everyone involved for their effort and commitment to learning new skills! π

Kaden joined us through our Training for Work programme working in partnership with All in Glasgow, sponsored by Glasgow City Council.
During his time with us, he showed great commitment and determination, successfully achieving his SQA Level 4 Health and Safety Certification and passing his CSCS test and gaining his CSCS card.
As part of the programme, Kaden completed a 6 week work placement with Emerald Sealants, where he gained valuable hands on experience and developed his workplace skills.
His hard work and positive attitude throughout the placement paid off, and weβre delighted to share that Kaden has now secured full time employment with Emerald Sealants.
Congratulations, Kaden! π
