We might have a small window of opportunity to curl this week as the ice is nearly 3” thick. We need about 4”. That said next week might bring warmer weather. Here’s hoping 2022 will be a surprising year.

Thank you to Roddy Cramlington for the gift of two trees, a cherry and a willow. Hopefully they will survive the transplant and settle in over the coming months. A lovely addition to the pond.

Anyone wish to volunteer to strum the curling pond. In the highly unlikely event that we get ice, we need to take the reeds down to the mud. Dirty and fun job undertaken at a COVID distance, especially since mid goes everywhere. 🙂 I’m jnackwred I my own. 🙂 Send me a message if interested. Thank you!
