Thanks so much to everyone who came along to our Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Networking Breakfast on Tuesday morning. It was lovely to meet so many new faces and see a few familiar ones, and we hope you found the briefings we delivered to be helpful as we gear up to celebrate this year’s Silver and Gold Awards.

We would also like to thank HMS Dalriada for the use of their meeting and catering facilities throughout the morning, and also our Engagement Team members Neil, Duncan and Caitlin for their support in bringing this event together.

HMS Dalriada and HMS Scotia recently visited BAE Systems to tour HMS Glasgow.

The Type 26 frigate is currently in the systems commissioning and final outfitting stage ahead of upcoming sea trials.

🎖️ HMS Dalriada at Armed Forces Day! 🎖️

What a fantastic day! HMS Dalriada was proud to attend Armed Forces Day 2026 at the Nautical College in Glasgow! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚓

It was a brilliant opportunity to meet members of the public and celebrate the incredible armed forces community. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and showed their support! 🫡

🚢 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿What a fantastic few days at the Ideal Homes Exhibition, SECC, Glasgow. HMS Dalriada and HMS Scotia were proud to fly the Ensign for the Royal Naval Reserve bringing a taste of life in the Royal Navy right to the heart of the city.

⚓ 🪖We were thrilled to support the incredible Erskine Veterans Charity, shining a spotlight on the outstanding work they do for our veteran community.

🎯 The crowds absolutely loved getting hands-on with our PAC24 boat simulator and were queuing up for their turn at the helm! We also had a fantastic stance showcasing a range of weapon systems, giving visitors a real insight into the kit sailors work with day to day.

💬It was an absolute pleasure speaking to everyone who turned up to say hello. Keep an eye out for where we’ll be popping up next! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚓

🫡 HMS Dalriada was proud to host Commodore Jo Adey ADC, as she nears the end of her role as Commander of the Maritime Reserves.

🎖️🏆 Commodore Adey presented several awards and achievements to the ship’s company including;

👉🏻The Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Gold Rosette AND 4th Clasp for VRSM to WO1 Morrin

Members of HMS Dalriada and other reserve units from across the UK took part in the annual Royal Naval Reserve versus British Army Reserve football match.

Taking place outside of England for the first time in its history, the match pitted players from the Army Reserve, Royal Naval Reserve and Royal Marines Reserve against each other amid pouring rain, hailstones and the occasional patch of sunshine Rangers Training Ground Ground in Milngavie.

In the end, the Army Reserve team came away with a very impressive 7-0 win, proudly accepting their trophy from Colonel Davy Jones OBE QVRM, Interim Chair of the Army Football Association.

Congratulations to the winning team, and many thanks to everyone who helped bring this event together, including the The Rangers Charity Foundation who provided the training and match day facilities for both teams.

Today HMS Dalriada were privileged to participate in a memorial service to mark 83 years since the sinking of HMS Dasher, representing the Royal Naval Reserve alongside HMS Scotia.

HMS Dasher sank with the loss of 379 of her ship's company on 27th March 1943. The service today was attended by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.

A particularly poignant moment this year came with the awarding of the Arctic Star to a number of family members of those lost on that day.

🎉Congratulations to Lieutenant Craig Po***ck and Leader Walter Finlayson of HMS Dalriada who both received the Lord Lieutenant’s Award recently.

📜The awards were presented by the Lord Provost of Glasgow at Glasgow City Chambers.
