Friends Of Maxwell Park

Maxwell Park contains many plants first introduced to the gardens of Pollok House by George Forrest the distinguished plantsman. Membership is free.

The Friends of Maxwell Park is a charitable association owned and run by its members. The association provides a structure for the community enabling people who have an interest in Maxwell Park to come together. The Association relies on donations from members and supporters. Members may wish just to be a ‘Friend’ and enjoy the Park or may wish to contribute more actively to the work of the association.

Does anyone have a petrol strimmer that could be loaned or even donated to us? We have a few volunteers keeping on top of the beds and they could really use some extra tools! Please message us if you can help!!

Pond Area Tidy up-
We have our wonderful volunteer David who is going to be doing some sessions around the pond on a Monday morning at 10am. Please message us if you are able to lend a helping hand for an hour!

We need help !
We need voulunteers for gardening sessions!!
We need a session leaders ( 1.5 hour commitment once a month )
And session attendants ( 1 hour commitment once a month )

These will be mid week and at the weekend.
You do not need previous experoence just enthusiasm.
No minimum month commitment.
