We are the only Army Reserve Field Hospital in Scotland. Our Detachments are based in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.
We are a hospital that can be based anywhere throughout the world, with highly trained clinically current professionals providing first class healthcare delivery. Our reservists are mostly employees of NHS Scotland - same people, different environment.

Last weekend teams from across the Army Medical Services competed in Yorkshire at AMSTTE - the Army Medical Services Tactical Training Exercise.
AMSTTE is a series of military and medical focused stands that tested each teams leadership, endurance and ability to adapt under pressure.
Team 205, mostly Reservists who work for NHS Scotland in their civilian jobs, performed really well, coming 2nd in the Army Reserve competition and 6th in the combined Regular and Reserve competition.

Members of 205 Fd Hosp are amongst the 7000 military personnel from 40 countries currently down south preparing for The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort.
What an event to be part of! Probably a once in a lifetime event for most of those involved.

We are sad to hear of the passing of another ex-member of the 205 Field Hospital family, WO2 Eric Bruce.
His funeral will be held at 1030 hrs, Fri 17 March at Dundee Crematorium.
