Hi everyone. We are going to be moving out soon - we'll be really sad to leave the street and the garden. We may have to take our lawn mower with us - not sure what the deal is with the back court at the new flat. Is anyone else able to keep cutting the grass in our absence?

Hi guys. I'm keen to get a beer-garden style table and chairs for the garden, and there are some great ones available for £30 on gumtree. I am fine to pay the £30, but I don't have the means to pick one up, and it's a half hour drive away from here. Bit of a long shot I know, but if anyone has access to a van it would be amazing to get one. Here's the link: http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/picnic-tables/1046783776

Remember if you are free this afternoon you can come along to the garden for some snacks and drinks.
Hi everyone. There is currently an empty raised bed that is free for anyone to plant in. It needs plastic put down and then compost thrown in. There are a few bags of compost out there and locavore are sometimes able to help out with more.
Thanks to the person/people who cleared the ivy off the wall :)

Some new stuff - more plants, protection for the wee trees, hanging baskets and a general tidy up.
The weather has been pretty rubbish so far to put it lightly, but hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel and there will be some more gardening-friendly weather soon!
Got some new bits and bobs for the garden today. Some hanging baskets for flowers which we can hang on the fences, some potato grow bags for...growing potatoes and some wood roll to replace the broken pots that are currently sort of protecting the little trees that have been planted around the place.
Does anyone have some kind of grass strimmer they could cut the grass with every couple of weeks?
What would you like to see in the garden this summer? I'm thinking more clear labelling so everyone knows what's growing and when it can be harvested.
Hi everyone. We are looking to do a couple of hours of tidying up and preparing the garden for winter soon. Locavore have volunteered to come along to help and plant some garlic. At the moment we were thinking Saturday the 3rd at around 2pm. Is anyone up for this?
