Class of 2026! 🌞
Some of the young people from our Buddy Programme showcased their hard work and learning to family members and teachers at our annual showcase on Monday night.
The Buddy Programme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to engage in something different from school, learning about real social issues including addictions such as drugs, gambling, alcohol, and va**ng/smoking. After taking their learning into local primary schools to support peer education, they then worked hard on a piece of work that was completely personal to them and reflected their own learning journey.
We are incredibly proud of every young person involved, and of the dedication, growth, and development they have shown week in, week out throughout the programme.
The programme is now finished for the summer, but we hope to see them all back, along with many more young people, when we return to schools in August! 😆

Some holiday fun!
Last week, members from some of our groups met up to attend the Clydeside Easter Funland — and what a great day it was ❤️ (even with the rain ☔️).
Our youth group also took the opportunity to explore the Riverside Museum, making their way across the Partick–Govan Bridge along the way. A brilliant day full of fun, learning, and making memories together!

A massive well done to our Buddy Programme young people, who over the past two weeks have been delivering addiction awareness sessions at both Clyde and St Brendan’s with Primary 7 classes. 🌞
They kicked things off by speaking about the transition from primary school to high school, sharing their own experiences and advice.
They then went on to deliver their learning around addiction, covering important topics such as drugs, alcohol, smoking, va**ng, and gambling.
We’re incredibly proud of the confidence, honesty, and effort shown by all of the young people involved 👏
Now it’s time to plan and prepare for our showcase in June, where the young people will have the opportunity to share all their hard work with friends, family, and the wider community. 🎉
