Meet Matt, one of our amazing crew! 🛠 Something Matt likes working on the Tall Ship is that every day is different: “looking after a ship of this age always throws up interesting surprises!” 🔔 Outside of work, he enjoys going for long cycle rides and going foraging for mushrooms in the better weather. 🍄 One of Matt’s most memorable moments working on the ship was “watching otters playing in the river Kelvin off of the stern of the ship.” 🦦His favourite part of the ship is the P**p deck, where he says he loves to “enjoy a moment of peace”. 🧘♂️ And Matt’s favourite visitor interaction? “Meeting a visiting rigger from the Balclutha in San Francisco. It was so interesting to talk and compare our experiences working on two very similar ships!” 🚢
