🎆🧁 BONFIRE BAKE SALE – CAKES NEEDED! 🧁🎆

Elson Schools Fundraising Friends will be holding a Bonfire Bake Sale after school on Wednesday 4th November 2026, and we'd be really grateful for your support! ❤️

🍰 ALL CAKES JUST 50p EACH – CASH ONLY! 🍰

We would love donations of cakes from our school communities. Cakes can be dropped off at the school office from Monday 2nd November up until the morning of Wednesday 4th November.

🎂 A little reminder: If you're making cakes at home, please make sure they come with a full ingredients list so we can inform parents of any allergens.

📍 Where to find us after school:
🔴 Elson Infant School – Reading Hut on the playground.
🔵 Elson Junior School – Outside the Music Room.

All proceeds will go towards fundraising for both schools, helping us provide more exciting opportunities and resources for our children.

Thank you so much for your continued support and for helping make our fundraising events a success!

***INFANTS***

We are excited to share some of the fun activities we have planned for the children this autumn and Christmas!
To make things easier, we are offering an Autumn & Christmas Events Pass for just £5 per child, covering all three events listed below. Alternatively, you can choose to pay for individual events if your child only wishes to take part in certain activities.

Our Upcoming Events
🪩 Glow Disco – Thursday 5th November
Get ready to glow! Children are encouraged to wear white or glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories. The disco sessions will be split by year group:
Year R: 3:15pm–4:00pm
Year 1: 4:00pm–4:45pm
Year 2: 4:45pm–5:30pm
Please ensure your child attends the correct session for their year group.
🤪 Christmas Crazy Hair Day – Tuesday 1st December - Let the children get creative with their hairstyles! From tinsel and bows to festive colours, we can't wait to see their wonderfully wacky Christmas creations.
🎅 Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 10th December - It's time to get festive! Children can wear their favourite Christmas jumper and help us fill the school with Christmas cheer.

🎟️ How to Pay
You can choose from the following options:
Autumn & Christmas Events Pass – £5 (includes all three events)
Glow Disco – £3
Christmas Crazy Hair Day – £1
Christmas Jumper Day – £1
The total cost of booking all four events individually is £5, which is the same price as the Events Pass. The pass simply allows you to book all four activities together in one convenient payment.

💵Cash - In a named envelope with your child's name, class and what they are taking part in

Important Information About Our New Payment System
We are using a new online payment system called Zeffy for our events, so please bear with us while we get used to the new system! At the end of the payment process, Zeffy will ask if you would like to make an additional donation to support its platform. Please be assured that this donation is completely optional. If you do not wish to make an additional donation, you can change the donation amount to £0 before completing your payment. You will then only pay the cost of your chosen event or Events Pass, with no extra donation added. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we introduce this new way of taking payments.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support of Elson Schools Fundraising Friends. Every contribution helps us provide additional opportunities, resources and memorable experiences for the children at Elson Infant and Junior Schools.
We hope the children enjoy all the fun we have planned and look forward to a wonderful autumn and Christmas together!

Kind regards,
Kerry - Chair of Elson Schools Fundraising Friends
