Grantham Police The neighbourhood policing page for Grantham and surrounding areas. This Page is not monitored 24/7. Do not report crime here. Call 999 in emergencies only.

Report crime or make a complaint online at https://www.lincs.police.uk/ or call 101. We reserve the right to remove comments and block you if we feel you offend, intimidate, hurt, or deliberately provoke specific people or groups of people. We welcome open debate; we welcome free speech that allows you to articulate their opinions without fear of retaliation. But we do not welcome discourse from anyone who does not respect and live by those same principles. We live in a society where freedom of speech is a right, but if you abuse that right you can expect to be sanctioned. If anything you post tips the balance towards hate speech – this is defined as anything public that expresses hate or encourages violence towards a person or group based on something such as race, religion, age, s*x, nationality, ethnicity, disability, or s*xual orientation – or that post anything that threatens, incites, or encourages hatred or violence in any way, we may record this as a crime and investigate you in the same way we would as if this had happened on the street. Be aware of what you post, be mindful of how others may receive it, and, above all, be kind to one another. Thank you. (If you've been blocked and wish to appeal or complain about the service you have received, visit https://www.lincs.police.uk/fo/feedback/tcs/complaints-triage/)

We are appealing for information after two people were injured outside of a club in Market Place, Grantham.

Officers have been following multiple lines of enquiry in the weeks after the incident was recorded and are now turning to our community for assistance.

We were called to a report of a disturbance in the Market Place area on Sunday 16 August at 2.25am.

Two people sustained injuries consistent with being punched and kicked.

If you have any information that could further assist our enquiries, there are a number of ways to get in touch:

By emailing [email protected], quoting ‘Incident 53 16/08/2026’ in the subject line.

By telling us about concerns via the 'Tell us about' section of our website: https://www.lincs.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/

By speaking with us while we’re on foot patrols

Or anonymously, via the Crimestoppers website: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously

All information is handled sensitively and confidentially.

I’ll be out on foot patrol in Grantham from around 4pm today, following recent concerns regarding anti-social behaviour in the area.
I’ll be carrying out high-visibility patrols and speaking with members of the community to understand the issues you’re experiencing and help tackle ASB where possible.
If you see me out and about, please come and say hello! 👋
If you have any questions, concerns, or information you’d like to pass on, I’d be more than happy to have a chat.
Your feedback is really important in helping us understand what’s happening locally and where we need to focus our attention.
Hope to see some of you out and about this afternoon!

Illegal use of e-bikes can put pedestrians and other park users at risk.

Officers are carrying out patrols across Grantham to identify those riding illegally or dangerously in public spaces.

We're encouraging riders to act responsibly and reminding everyone that enforcement action may be taken where offences are identified.

Let's work together to keep our parks and pathways safe for everyone.

Report any concerns via 101 or online. Always call 999 in an emergency.

You can tell us your opinion and experience of e-bikes by completing this survey: https://survey.lincolnshirealert.co.uk/Survey/GUID/970c11f9-6768-48d0-935c-30bffd3ed854
